1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Your Delivery Services ("YDS", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

YDS provides local delivery and courier services, including but not limited to:

• Same-day delivery services
• Express and rush delivery options
• Scheduled pickup and delivery
• Business logistics solutions

3. Service Requirements

3.1 Eligible Items

We accept most legal items for delivery. However, we reserve the right to refuse service for:

• Illegal or prohibited items
• Hazardous materials
• Perishable goods (unless specifically arranged)
• Items exceeding our size/weight limitations
• Cash, negotiable instruments, or high-value items without declared value

3.2 Packaging

Customers are responsible for properly packaging items for transport. YDS is not liable for damage to improperly packaged items.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Pricing

Delivery prices are calculated based on:

• Service level selected (Standard, Express, Rush)
• Distance between pickup and delivery locations
• Package size and weight
• Special handling requirements

4.2 Payment

Payment is due at the time of booking unless other arrangements have been made. We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and invoicing for approved business accounts.

5. Delivery Terms

5.1 Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Factors beyond our control (traffic, weather, etc.) may affect delivery times.

5.2 Delivery Confirmation

Deliveries may be confirmed by:

• Recipient signature
• Photo proof of delivery
• Delivery to designated safe location as instructed

5.3 Failed Delivery Attempts

If delivery cannot be completed due to recipient unavailability, we will attempt to contact the sender for further instructions. Additional fees may apply for redelivery attempts.

6. Liability and Insurance

6.1 Limitation of Liability

Our liability for lost or damaged items is limited to the declared value or actual value of the item, whichever is less, up to a maximum of $100 per package unless additional coverage is purchased.

6.2 Claims

Claims for lost or damaged items must be submitted within 7 days of the scheduled delivery date. Claims should include:

• Order number
• Description of damage or loss
• Photos of damaged items (if applicable)
• Proof of value

7. Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled free of charge before a driver has been assigned. Once a driver is en route, cancellation fees may apply:

• Before pickup: 25% of order total
• After pickup: 50% of order total

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

• Provide accurate pickup and delivery information
• Ensure someone is available to receive the delivery
• Properly package items for transport
• Disclose any special handling requirements
• Not ship prohibited items

9. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
